The alpaca is a species of South American camelid. It is similar to, and often confused with the llama, which are much larger than alpacas. At our ranch, there are many ways to interact with our alpacas, from feeding them to even owning them.
As you will see when you arrive, each alpaca has a personality of its own. Meet each of our stars below:

ALL ABOUT ALPACA
In this session, you will get an introduction of alpacas, alpaca farming, and fiber production. You will get to feel the softness of their fleece, learn how to use the halter and even walk the alpacas; there will be plenty of picture-taking opportunities available. Learn from a hands-on demonstration of how our fleece turns into yarn, which we sew to create alpaca products.

ALPACA FEEDING
One hour before sunset, usually between 4-6pm every evening, alpacas get their dinner. Watch what all is entailed in the alpaca feast, even feed them yourselves. Our everyday activities at the farm are feeding, cleaning the stalls, and loading up the hay for their night-time cravings.

YOU CAN OWN AN ALPACA
Yes, it is possible! You don’t have to buy a farm to own an alpaca. We will make your dreams come true. Board your alpacas in our serene Nature’s Melodies Alpaca Ranch with the company of our wonderful alpacas. We are open to discuss all the possibilities to board your alpacas here at Nature’s Melodies.
